Another memory from that 1000+ seat theater came to mind. When ET was playing, the house was packed again. The lights dimmed and curtain parted, and the ambient babel of 1,000 conversations fell silent. This aural void then filled with the steady Chhhhhhhh! sound of 1,000 people chewing popcorn.
Trump is his own worst enemy sometimes when he lets his ego run his mouth and his social media accounts. He tends to over promise and under deliver,
Trump flat out TOLD his base, "If you care about the Epstein Files, I don't want your vote!" And conservatives said Fine, fuck Republicans then! by the tens of millions in the voting booth. The inflation rate during Bidens term was down to the Scamdemic, and Oligarch level politicians fear the Epstein Files equally whether D or R. But rank and file Democrats can't honestly get melded into the same indifference pot as GOP voters. Democrats very loudly call to Release The Files, while Republicans largely mirrored Trump in dismissing them, assuming the mantle of The Pedo Party.
Boomers who had gynocrentric inclinations
What in the name of post hoc Copium? Conservative Boomers are and always have been old school male dominant sexist to their core. Liberal Boomers pretty much burned out on the Women's Lib movement while Nixon was still in office. Younger liberals did overly deify women for far too long, but that seems to be winding down as idealism confronts and gets overtaken by reality around 25ish.
