Why is dating so hard in my 30s when I accept drinks from other men besides the one I’m on a date with?
This story gives off strong Aldus Huxley "Brave New World" vibes. People dehumanized into ignorant drones in an massive insect colony with no families of their own who mob a bar with other strangers all looking to get themselves doped up on, at least in this instance, the seasonal release of Turkey and Ham flavored Soma, so they can numb themselves to the pain of being unloved.
